The Ministry of Commerce has cautioned retail companies, car dealerships, and all commercial entities against offering or selling the "Extended Warranty" product without obtaining a license from the Insurance Authority.
The "Extended Warranty" is considered an insurance product that must be offered exclusively through licensed insurance companies, in accordance with the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control Law.
